General Information
The International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE) is an annual event initiated by the Research Center for Biomedical Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (RCBE UI) that has been held since 2016. The event is organized to improve the communication of science, research, and technology among students, faculty, and researchers in Indonesia and abroad who study and or have a career in biomedical engineering. The International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering would be one of the ways to strengthen the biomedical agenda in Indonesia with international relations.
ISBE 2024 is the 9th edition of the ISBE conference and will be held in collaboration with Biomechanical & Clinical Engineering (BioMeC) Research Group UiTM. We aim to provide a platform for researchers and young scientists worldwide to present novel findings and discuss the future of biomedical engineering for 2024 and beyond. The ISBE 2024 will be held on October 28, 2024, at the The Margo Hotel, Depok, West Java, Indonesia with the main theme being “Unleashing the Impact in Biomedical Engineering” which will underpin the need for collaboration and cooperation of individuals and industries from a wide range of biomedical engineering and health backgrounds. The conference will include a variety of important sessions ranging from imaging and signal processing, biomaterials, drug delivery and development, medical devices, biomechanics and rehabilitation engineering, biomedical simulation and modeling, healthcare informatics and telemedicine, and clinical and healthcare management.
