General Information
The International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE) is an annual event initiated by the Research Center for Biomedical Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (RCBE UI) that has been held since 2016. The event is organized to improve the communication of science, research, and technology among students, faculty, and researchers in Indonesia and abroad who study and or have a career in biomedical engineering. The International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering would be one of the ways to strengthen the biomedical agenda in Indonesia with international relations.
ISBE 2023 is the 8th of ISBE conference and will be held in conjunction with The 18th International Conference on Quality in Research (QiR). We aim to provide a platform for researchers and young scientists from around the world to present novel findings and discuss the future of biomedical engineering for 2023 and beyond. The ISBE 2023 will be held on October 22 – 26, 2023, at the Hilton Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, with the main theme being “Empowering Multidisciplinary Partnership for Healthcare Product Industry and Services” which will underpin the need for collaboration and cooperation of individuals and industries from a wide range of biomedical engineering and health backgrounds. The conference will include a variety of important sessions ranging from biomaterials, drug delivery and development, medical devices, clinical and health management, etc.
